Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Never again will I or any of my friends will step food here. I ordered online, all good there. Received confirmation that the order was received and it will be ready by 2:51. Time comes and the link where you track the order was still saying pending. I called to see if it’s ready, phone number didn’t work, tried again..nothing..again..nothing. I go in with my two babies, empty inside. It took some time for someone to ask if I need help, never came towards me. From the back of the restaurant he yells “where did you please the order”. I say online from the website…after that crickets..no one says a word. I ask about the order and I’m told to wait. A guy then tells me “it’s another 8-10min” and offers some juice for the inconvenience. I waited.. can took the order and didn’t check because I trusted that all the items will be in. I get home (30min drive from the restaurant) excited to eat, just to find out that the bulgogi for 2-3 ($33) is only a single serving, no rice. The pork belly was supposed to have rice and sides and had none. The vegetable fried rice which I fed my kids too had a lots of other things but vegetable in: egg shells and a label (not an edible item). I’m happy to k

This spot is one of the best places to enjoy authentic Korean food in Chicago Chinatown. The food was fantastic, full of rich flavors, and everything we ordered lived up to the “most popular” recommendations on the menu. It was my first time visiting, and the experience definitely exceeded expectations. The service was quick and efficient, and the ambiance added to the overall experience with a great atmosphere. It really feels like a hidden gem right in the heart of Chinatown. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Korean food.

We had dinner at Ajum’s Apron in Chinatown with high expectations, but unfortunately the flavors didn’t quite deliver. The portions are generous and reasonably priced (around $20 per dish), which is definitely a plus. The banchan was good — well-seasoned and nicely portioned. The atmosphere is calm and relatively quiet, making it easy to have a conversation, and visually the place looks clean and pleasant. However, the main dishes were underwhelming. I ordered the Jjamppong (spicy seafood stew), and while the portion was large, the broth lacked depth and seasoning. The dominant flavor was crab, but overall it tasted watery and under-salted. I couldn’t finish it. My partner ordered Tteok Mandu Guk, and the sesame oil was visibly floating on top of the soup, overpowering the rest of the flavors. Instead of being balanced, it felt heavy and one-dimensional. One concerning detail: the water glass had an unpleasant smell, like it had been wiped with a damp, unclean cloth. I wasn’t able to drink it. I ended up ordering a beer instead, which was fine. Overall, while the portions and pricing are fair and the ambiance is nice, the lack of flavor was disappointing. I’d rate it a 3 out of 5 —

Ahjoomah's Apron Korean Restaurant delivers fantastic, homestyle Korean food. Every dish we ordered, from the crispy Haemul Pajeon (Seafood Pancake) and the perfectly glazed Korean Fried Chicken Wings to the tender grilled Mackerel and the variety of fresh Banchan, tasted authentic and delicious. The food quality is genuinely outstanding and earns top marks. The only area for improvement during our visit was the service. While polite, the staff seemed a bit slow or distracted, resulting in some delays and a lack of attentiveness. Verdict: Go for the incredible Korean comfort food—it's worth it! Just be prepared to be patient with the dining room flow. This spot is a winner once they smooth out the front-of-house operations.
